PHotoEspaña 2012 has opened its doors

Due to its preceding years of celebrated presence PHotoEspaña has positioned itself as one of the greatest events of the international arts calendar.
The renowned exhibition opens its doors from June 6 until July 2012, with more than 70 exhibits that display the work of more than 300 artists and creators from 45 countries. Among the exhibitions you will find names such as Andy Warhol, Richard Avedon, Carlos Garaicoa, Paz Errazuriz, Santiago Sierra, Chen Chieh-jen, Alberto García-Alix and Helena Almeida.

Staying true to its annual occurrence, the festival presently faces a new phase characterized by the challenge of adapting to changing times with a successful collective model based on the collaboration of public and private institutions.

This fifteenth edition of International Festival of Photography and Visual Arts is assured to offer a program that is intended for all audiences. The festival will also count with the Campus PHE, organized in collaboration with the prestigious agency Magnum workshops and master classes from 22 to 24 June in Alcalá.
